About
The Utah Small Business Coalition (USBC) is a free directory of Utah-owned businesses, listed by the people who own or represent them. USBC is operated by YadaWorx.
What USBC is
USBC makes it easier for Utahns to find and connect with Utah-owned businesses. Each listing includes business details and a practical way to reach the business through its own website, contact form, or other channels.
Listings are free. USBC is not a paid advertising service.
Who it's for
- Users. Utahns looking for products or services from Utah-owned businesses.
- Businesses. Utah owners (or Utah reps) who serve Utahns and want a public listing.
Who belongs
Listings are for Utah-owned businesses (or Utah representatives of such businesses) that provide products or services to Utahns. A listing includes a real way to reach the business.
The listing standard
Every listing in the directory is created and affirmed by the member behind it. Before a listing goes live, the member affirms three things:
- I own or represent this business, and it is Utah-owned.
- We serve Utahns.
- The information and links in this listing are accurate, and I'll let USBC know if something changes.
That's the whole standard, on purpose. Small baseline: the person behind the business put the listing here and stands behind it.
How connection works
The directory is organized by category so users can find relevant businesses. Connections go through each business's own links and channels. USBC doesn't publish members' personal contact details, and it doesn't promise leads or sales.
Business information is open and searchable by search engines. There is no paywall or login required to browse.
Why USBC exists
USBC exists so Utahns can support Utah-owned businesses. It costs nothing to list or browse, and it grows through real use.
